Female Iranian Artist Ranks 2nd in Int'l Pictorial Books Contest

TEHRAN The female Iranian artist Firoozeh Golmohammadi ranked second at the International Pictorial Books Contest held in Japan. The competition was organized by UNESCO's Asia-Pacific Cultural Department. More than 60 countries took part in the contest. Golmohammadi's work, titled An Elephant in the Dark Room, won the second rank, with a Sudanese artist ranking first.
